History:
Leland had a pretty normal life. He was the only child to a family that was a bit well off. He wasn’t spoiled though, the boy was taught at a young age to work for what he wanted. He was a hard worker, looking for part time jobs while he was in school to at least save up enough money when he graduated. Thankfully, all his frugal spending paid off, no pun intended. Leland graduated and was able to afford an apartment and a job in town and even his first allmate Chinchin. Unfortunately, that was when his life changed for the worst.

Leland was still young, so naïve when he met Arin. He was attracted to that “bad boy” quality the other had. The two hit it off nearly instantly and soon enough, Arin moved in with Leland. Leland was in love with the other, happy as can be. He ignored the words of his allmate, telling him that Arin wasn’t a good guy to be around. Leland expected the two to have a lasting relationship with how well everything turned out. Yet on the other side, Arin was gradually draining all of Leland’s hard earned money. He was a greedy soul who took advantage of the smitten boy and once he was drained dry, he left. Leland woke up one day to find his bed empty and his account just the same. Leland had no money to his name. His job wouldn’t help him, Arin early on convinced the boy to leave because it “wasn’t good for him”. Leland panicked; his first thought at a job was, unfortunately, the love hotel. Arin did always tell him he had a pretty face. He was quick to work, trying to please the guests as a host. He had his average looks, but his serving abilities were less than average. Plenty of spilled drinks and angry customers left him with small paychecks. Yet Leland had tenacity, he’s still looking to work hard to earn back the money he lost from a less than truthful first love.

While he’s fine with a one night stand, that being his job, Leland’s still nervous about a fulltime relationship. Deep down he’s scared the same thing would happen again.
